Genocide Report Day
This learning activity would allow students to collaboratively work on researching and analyzing a specific genocide case that occurred. Students could compare these past genocides to current events so that they understand how relatable they are, or not for that matter. Ultimately, the class can be set up in the form of a gallery walk, either just in their own class or in the school, or even somewhere like the public library where more people can learn about what the students have worked on. This learning activity is suitable for elementary to high school students as your expectations and rubric would vary.
