Genocide Timeline
This activity would require students, as an entire class, to create a visual timeline in the classroom of various genocides starting from a specific date. Each genocide would be represented by visuals such as maps and primary documents and would also include written/typed information about it. Venn diagrams can be included to show comparing and contrasting between genocides, information about what was going on in other parts of the world at the time, and information about specific countries involved during that specific genocide. There are many possible expectations one can set for this assignment/project but the main purpose is to collaborate as a class to create an informative visual of how impactful genocides have been on the world.
